running out of time

My time in the UK is running out quicker than I'm getting results on various fronts. Now things with her are pretty much on as even a keel as is possible. There are a few minor wrinkles to iron out, but that's manageable.
My ability to stick around, however, is in question, and it's foretelling dire consequences for the rest of the things.
If I can't get to work here, I'm going to have to move back home, and that will force her cards - she'll have to make up her mind about her intentions and her seriousness about our relationship.
I realized that I already burned through almost 3 weeks of my stay here without much to show for it. Just hope the opportunity on which I am pinning my hopes will work out.
